Scholarships

Thank you for your interest in a Life Active Scholarship. Scholarships are available for youth with varying circumstances. We can help with anything from helping to purchase some new cleats or a new glove to helping cover costs for school or city recreational sport and rec leagues.

Our main goal is to help our youth create a healthy and active lifestyle and we understand that during these difficult economic times that not all families can afford such activities. Our goal is to fill that missing gap. Our philosophy for scholarship recipients is for them to provide as much as they can and we will fill in the rest.

Requirements for a Life Active Scholarship:

• Purpose of scholarship to fill a need in an event or activity that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Scholarship recipient(s) must make some contribution, i.e. If Rec fee is $60 and recipient can put in $20, then Life Active will make up the $40 difference. Recipients can also help volunteer at our events. Other types of contributions can be discussed between scholarship recipient and Life Active.
• Scholarship recipient(s) must write a thank you note to Life Active or participating scholarship donor.
