2010 Do the Du Duathlon

The 2010 Do the Du Duathlon is perfect to start off the new competitive season. Located in Rexburg, Idaho the 5K run will be flat & fast. The Bike course is held on the North end of the city and will be a mix of street and country roads.

DISTANCE: 5K Run, 15 mile Bike

LOCATION: Madison High School, Rexburg, ID

START TIME: 10:00 AM

*NOTE: T-shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants only. We may or may not have extra shirts on race day. If there are extra shirts these are first come first serve. Please pre-register on or before May 15th to guarantee your 2010 Do the Du Duathlon race shirt.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION: On the www.lifeactive.org website, through a secured transaction. Deadline for on-line registration is Wednesday, May 19th. All other registrations will be day of race registrations. Race Day registrations will be from 8:00AM until 9:30AM. You will not be allowed to register after this time.

PACKET PICKUP: Race Day packet pickup (and registration) will take place at the official start/finish area from 8:00AM until 9:30 AM.

Pre-Race Meeting: We will hold a pre-race meeting at 9:45AM. We will review the course and official race rules. You will also be allowed to ask questions about the race at this time.

Run Course: The 5K will be flat and fast around the high school. Runners will then make their way back to the high school where the transition for the bike begins.

Bike Course: Cyclists will leave from the high school, head out Barney Dairy Rd. and have a 15 mile course on country roads before returning to the finish located back at the high school.

AID STATION: A water aid station will be available for all race participants. It will be located at the start/finish and transition area.

Race Results: Results will be posted here on www.lifeactive.org.

Awards: Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female champions. Overall Male & Female will be removed from the individual age division awards. Awards will also be presented to the 1st thru 3rd place finishers in each individual age division for Male & Female.

Divisions: Individual: 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+

*NOTE: Awards Ceremony will commence at the conclusion of the event and winners must pick up their awards. Awards will not be mailed.

LOST AND FOUND: Any equipment that is unmarked will be returned to the lost and found officials for participants to claim. Please come to the event with all personal belongings marked with your name and/or race number.

VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to help with the race. We need good volunteers to maintain the quality and safety of this event.
